*Avoid cleaning with detergent.
Normally, rinse with tap water as soon as possible after use. In addition, please rinse with clean or hot water before each use to make it smooth and easy to use.
After long-term use, the filter holes may become slightly clogged because the oil from the coffee beans blocks the filter holes. Simply put the filter cup into boiling water for 10 minutes and then air dry naturally.
If you want a more thorough cleaning, you can first dissolve baking soda in water (about 1 liter of water plus 1 tablespoon of baking soda, which can be adjusted to 1-3 tablespoons depending on the degree of dirt), and then put the filter cup into a boil for 10 minutes.
Things to note:
- Never add baking soda powder directly to boiling water as this is extremely dangerous.
- Using aluminum pots may cause the pots to turn black.
