Lead-free Brass <br>According to the Japanese Food Hygiene Law, when making tableware with copper alloy materials such as brass, the lead content in the material must be less than 0.1%, and parts that are directly edible must be plated with copper or tin.
FUTAGAMI's tableware uses a uniquely formulated "lead-free brass" material to control workability, strength and color. Silver plating on parts that come into contact with the mouth has been proven to have antibacterial properties against moist bacteria and is a hygienic and aesthetically pleasing coating with no metallic odor.
